Texas 83rd Legislative Session Update: Report for Tuesday, June 25th, 2013
The House adjourned sine die.
- Speaker issued a proclamation expanding the scope of the Select Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations to monitor conduct of executive appointees, including university regents.
The Senate adjourned sine die.
- Lt. Governor Dewhurst announced that SB 5 could not be signed in the presence of the Senate before midnight and consequently was not passed. SJR 2 and SB 23 also died.
